FAQ

  • What is the difference between pressed and air dried flowers?

Pressed flowers are preserved flat as paper by using heavy weight to flatten the bloom while they dry. Air dried flowers are preserved by, well, air drying them. These ones maintain their form and are displayed in a shadow box.

  • Is the deposit fee included in the total price of the preservation?

Yes. The deposit fee is for us to know that you are serious about getting your flowers preserved and will be the first step to purchasing a custom preservation.

  • Can you preserve a bouquet that is already dry and multiple months/years old?

Yes! These bouquets can be arranged in a shadow box at a 15% discount. Because of this custom price, please purchase the deposit fee to schedule a consultation with us.

  • Can you preserve my flowers if my event has already happened?

Absolutely! We have a different process for orders like this, so to reserve your spot asap please purchase the deposit fee from our shop and we will reach out as soon as possible.

  • Can fresh flowers be sent in the mail if I don't live in your area?

Yes. We accept fresh bouquets from all over the US. If you want to send them to us, we will send you detailed shipping instructions and recommend that you are prepared to send them the day after your event. Other than that, it is easy!

  • How long does it take for the frame to be finished?

Turnaround time for custom preservations is 1-2 months. It mostly depends on how fast the flowers dry and how busy we are. We are a one-woman show so we appreciate your patience!

  • How long do pressed and dried flowers last?

The flowers will last forever. Be advised that the colors will fade slightly over a long period of time no matter what. Color correcting helps to decrease the fading process. Keeping your preservation out of direct sunlight and out of extreme temperatures will slow down the fading process, as well.

  • How far in advance should I book a preservation?

I always say the sooner the better because we book up for the busy wedding months. We are always happy to accomodate any last minute preservations if we still have spots open for that month.

  • Do I need to pay more than 1 deposit fee if I want more than one item?

No. One deposit fee is enough to get started and we will invoice you the remaining costs based on your order.
